Through his Master's eyes

Through his Master's eyes Through his master's eyes, he saw his world. Through his master's voice, he welcomed his own peril. He had eyes, but was blind. He had a body, but lacked a mind. Without second thoughts- He forward marched, with rifle in his hand. He forward marched, on just a single command! Mesmerized he was, by his Fuhrer's speech. Pressurized he was, to unite the third Reich. He fought many battles, he devised many games. He brought glories back home, and spread fear with his Master's name. But one eventful night, when bullets were whizzing past his side, One came near and struck his thigh, the other came straight, and wrapped up his whole life. Back home, tears were shed, Family mourned. But unanimously, all the people prayed- "May that devil be doomed". His Fuhrer was blind, his Fuhrer was cheap, who sought pleasure, in killing the jews and the weak. ...

Men?

Men? What are they doing,  with our children's lives. Giving them guns,  at the age of Five. Teaching them to throw grenades,  calling men, his three wickets. Is this how we play,  our decent game of cricket?  The land of Muhammad has been torn apart,  By men claiming,  to have a so called heart. The land of christ,  is not his at last, aah!  as, the clerics are outnumbered by royal guards. Who try to protect, the sacred land,  keeping a tab of the second's hand,  and (believe me, my friend)  they really work very hard,  to protect His land from our own wrath. See,                    What they did to,  our saffron land. Painted it red,  Just on their leader's command?  Tell me,                  Who are they?  What's their religion?  Do they really have a rational visi...

Voyage

Voyage The day was bright, the breeze was cool. There belts were tight, and there stocks all full. With hopes high, and lust of discovery in there eyes, They left their homes, they left their wives. They left their kids  and,in a sense, they left their lives. They ventured in the Indian Ocean, The ocean their own, Indian in every aspect and yet so unknown. The crew consisted of men- men so dear, who vowed to accompany each other, till their end were near. As expected,                          Early days were good, Early days were bright, They spent their time cheerfully, forgetting the worries of their lives. But,                                           Slowly and slowly,as time passed (in that watery desert) the ocean changed it's colour, first...

HINDUSTAN

Hindustan Hindustan, the land ruled by Sultans, was not very difficult to find. coz,it was one of it's own kind. That time America was unknown, Australia was being sown. Europe was still dark, desperately, needed a spark. Africa was wild, was thought to be the birthplace of first human child. Asia was at it's peak, other's used to speak. Asia is standing at the golden bird's beak. Other's said,"Everything was made from water", but we knew the things that made water. Our army was so huge, Even Alexander lost his fuse. Then foreigners came from distant land, settled here with their whole band. And today I am writing my country's "dastan", which has been titled as "Hindustan". -Ravi Prakash

Those days

Those Days Those days,Aah! I really remember those days. Days, whom I cherish and- who would be cherished, till the end of mine few more days. I know now, then too, "time and tide wait for none", But shouldn't there be exception, for some. So rapidly, Those passing minutes changed into days, those short days into years. and those happy moments, into memories. Hence, sometimes, not always, while sitting alone, I usually stumble but try to get hold of some of those memory threads. and fly back in time, to the place where I really belonged.             ----R.Prakash

kvpy 14

KVPY interview for SA was concluded today on 25 jan,14. and i'm here sharing some experiences of mine. Firstly, this time they had different mood and time limit system.there was a buzzer which buzzed every 20 or 15 mins. My time was at 2 and in the list i was placed 6. but they weren't calling serially. Right now i am just focusing on the outer layer of the cake.the Q&A will be here soon. When i was called they collected my papers outside and i had to hand it over to a lady on 2nd floor.there they made me wait for more than 1 hour,i think. Then when my turn came they sent my papers through the back door.and then came the call.while sitting outside my legs were shaking ,i don't know why? then i drank some water and got ready. As soon i entered i greeted the lady first("she might not have heard my greetings") and the the rest. yes, they were sitting behind a big parabola shaped table, with a old man with his laptop and papers. There are few who say that they m...
